Changes to Version 6.1.0.4

This release of IPM contains the following enhancements

  • Compatibility with CRM for Tablets. CRM 2015 introduced a new CRM for tablets client. Although at the time of the 6.1.0.4 release there are a number of significant limitations with this new tablet application such as no IFrame support and no URL support, it still promises to be a significant improvement over the previous CRM Mobile Express offering and as such should be popular. For details of the IPM functionality available through CRM for Tablets please review the documentation section specifically designed to address this.
  • Improved speed of multi-select dialogs. In some situations where there are a large number of contact records or Job Contact records there were some speed challenges with our multi-select dialogs. In many cases these have been addressed.
  • Addressed issue of duplicate lines on invoices. In some situations where very subcontractor or purchase order invoices were created, some of the lines were duplicated on initial loading. In addition there were some significant speed challenges with these same invoices. These issues have now been resolved.
  • IPM Jobs Progress Dashboard filtering is now set to "All Jobs" by default. Previously it would be set to whichever job the user had last filtered on.
  • The Subcontract invoice grid has been modified to allow lines created by subcontract variations to be identified by exposing the Subcontract Variation Number column.
  • The Job Progress Dashboard is now no longer linked to the users selected Job filter. It will now always show all jobs that a user has rights to see. This screen can be extensively customised to show all the key indicators at a glance. Since the 6.1.0.3 version, customised grouping is now also available on this screen.
  • An issue where some quantity fields in grids appeared to be initialised with a value of one but were not saved with this value has now be rectified. This was particulalrly noticeable on Purchase Order Entry.
  • There is a new property for customising grids - OnCanEdit
  • Formulas can now be used to arrive at a value for any numeric field. By entering "=" a small dialogue will appear into which a formula can be keyed. This formula is specific to the cell, not the column. The details of the formula can be automatically stored and recalled with some minor changes to the grid. These are detailed in our grid settings documentation. You can enter any formula and then press Enter, for example: 40*3*20+(10/5). If required you can use any JavaScript mathematical functions and get values from other Grid rows and columns.

  • Now in Multi-Select of IPM or Job contacts when you select “Default Recipient Type” in the Filter row in the Right Panel – that value will be set for all rows you move from the Left Panel to the Right Panel (if you turn Filter off by unticking the Filter checkbox – even if you selected “Default Recipient Type” in the Filter row – it won’t work, but when you turn the Filter on – it will work again)
